This is a permanent part-time position, and the hours are designed to work with your life rather than take it over. You will be working Thursdays, Fridays, Monday, and a half-day on Saturday, which adds up to around 3.5 days per week. It is a consistent, reliable schedule that gives you real income and real time for everything else that matters. So what does the role actually involve? As our Pool Shop and Admin Assistant, you will be the friendly face and voice that customers connect with when they walk through the door or pick up the phone. You will help with pool water testing and product recommendations in the shop, assist with day-to-day administration tasks behind the scenes, process sales, manage enquiries, keep things organised, and generally help the whole operation run smoothly. You do not need to know anything about pools right now, that is the honest truth. We will train you from the ground up. What we do need is someone who is switched on, friendly, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping people solve problems. The pool knowledge will come, and it will come quickly when you are surrounded by a team that loves what they do. Every day in this role is a little different. Some days you will be out front chatting with a homeowner trying to get their water balanced before a big weekend. Other days you will be working through admin tasks, following up on quotes, or helping the team stay on top of things behind the scenes. There is variety, there is purpose, and there is always someone around to support you. This is not one of those jobs where you are thrown in the deep end and left to figure it out on your own.
